Wow, this book has drama! I listened to this as an audiobook and I think it definitely added to the novel as the accents and narration helped me to become fully engulfed in the story line. Following the loss of her husband, Feyi has been anti-relationship and doesn’t believe that she will ever love anyone again. Where do I start? I guess at the beginning where I had a bit of trouble getting into it. I have a hard time when urban characters are portrayed as speaking this way. With the N word, and the cursing. I'm urban and I don't speak this way and it just rubs me the wrong way.
