What Members Thought
You need to be focused when reading this book. One thing that sets Emily St. John Mandel's books apart is her nonlinear plotting. If your focus wavers, it is easy to get lost in the various timelines. Honestly, I am still digesting this one.

This was very different and at some points confusing. But once I reached the end I had to sit and think, which I think is what makes a good book. The last third of the book was the best.
What a surprise. This too is a book about time travel. I'm not smart enough to understand all the nuances in this story. Like Station Eleven this too is linked to a pandemic, or pancemics to be precise. I liked the time travel aspect and Gaspery-Jacques with his disvoveries. This is a small and humane book.
