4 stars. I wish I had something wonderful and profound to say to describe this book but I don’t. Honestly, when do I ever but still. Something about this author’s writing style is just so lush and gorgeous and almost whimsical.

Well, I didn't love this. I didn't hate it either. I found myself interested mostly in Olive's story, and if I'm honest, I really wanted a book about her. There were interesting bits in the other timelines, but I wasn't excited about anything there.

This takes a little while to get going and to figure out how each of the stories connect with one another. It's slow building but it's very much worth it to stick with it to the end.
