The featured couple in this book Miguel "Mike" Valenzuela and Brie Sheridan (Jack's baby sister).
The thing I like about this series, and I may have said this in a review of the 2nd book, is that the books are about the inhabitants of Virgin River period. Yes, this book brought Mike and Brie's relationship to the front, but it wasn't only about their relationship. It is about the community.

This is such a good series. Each book hits a difficult subject and works through it, while still being a joy to read.
This is book #3 in the series. Mike is now living in Virgin River and is in love with Brie who had a horrible divorce and has now been raped by a man she tried to convict of rape. He realizes that he must take things slowly. In addition to Brie and Mike's story, there are catchup stories on Jack/Mel & Preacher/Paige (MCs from previous books). I love how this author ties everything in together. Looking forward to reading the next one in this series.

I love how this author intertwines the previous book's characters into the continuing story of this small town life. This book centers on the shaky relationship of Mike, an LA cop and one of Jack's marine buddies recovering in Virgin River, and Jack's sister Brie. So, so good. Another wonderful entry in the Virgin River series. This series is so addictive. I love this town and all the people who live there. I love that she writes strong women (I love Brie) and strong men as well. I love her writing style.
i love these books so freaking much...so enjoyable and fast pace and cant get enough of them...the drama that goes on is just what i needed....i get so invested in the characters i find myself laughing and crying with them
