Words... what are words anymore? How do I write a review for this?

There is something about the characters that SJM writes that makes me want to have every one of them (ok maybe not a few certain ones) as my best friends. And the worlds she creates are perfection. I want to see the Night Court - someone make this into a movie and do it right, because the Night Court brought to life would be INCREDIBLE.

5 stars - Wow! Amazing world building, deft character development, intriguing plot, just the right amount of love, angst and action to leave me on the edge of my seat throughout the novel and a kick ass cliffhanger that shamelessly requires all readers to need to read the next installment.

3.5 stars rounded up because most of it I truly enjoyed listening to.
While I loved a lot of things about this story and think Maas is an excellent storyteller, there were a few things that took away from the story for me. One, for the first part of the book in particular I kept expecting to hear the name Celeana instead of Feyre as they were such similar characters with their personalities and overwhelming powers. They did grow apart some later in the story but the author definitely has a type. ...more
