sci-fi intrigue with a dash of romance.
A bit slow to start, and the miscommunications bugged me, but the intrigue and danger ramped up and things moved quickly. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. Keim was lovely. I adored him! Jainan was a bit tragic but i loved his strength. This is a new to me author and I’ll definitely read book two!

I read the version on AO3, but this was even better. I liked the conclusion, I loved the bear, (and the doves), and I found the relationship growth a good side bar to the mystery. I'm hoping for more books in this setting.
And I reread it again because it was just what my id wanted. I really like Kiem.
