Though we've all heard different things concerning Eleanor Roosevelt throughout history, this book gave a glimpse into her life I hadn't heard before. While the authors took quite a few liberties, they did address those at the end of the book, and regardless, Eleanor & Mary seemed to have a friendship for the ages. This was a joy to read, and it teaches lessons that are still applicable today. I recommend this book to those who enjoy historical fiction, especially those related to race relations
