Henrietta Lacks’ story is so sad, yet so interesting. An extremely important part of history and science that spans the globe, and should never ever be forgotten....Ever. I listened to the audiobook.

This book was so well-research and well-written. Cannot recommend it enough.
Interesting book, although I felt it wandered a bit. I struggle with the writing in the persons voice. I understand the author felt the need to allow the family and other individuals to "speak" in their own voice but it felt a bit disingenous at times. It serves as a good introduction to the background of the HeLa cells and a good starting point for ethical debate surrounding research with human tissue.
