I received an ARC from Netgalley. All opinions expressed are my own. I was not required to leave a positive review

This is the 3rd book in a series. I have read the first one, but didn't read book #2. I missed a bit of the back story of these characters, so I'd recommend reading this series in order.

Noah and Alexa are best friends. Noah owns a private security company, and Alexa owns a cat cafe that is a safe haven for women who have survived assault. Noah and Alexa talk every day, and text each

Finally, a romance novel with a good-hearted, likable heroine who is also a sexual assault survivor. Alexis is a breath of fresh air compared to the annoying heroines of the previous books. Not my favorite of the series but still a great read. Friends to lovers. I love this series because it really dives into deep shit and tries to break the toxic masculinity.

This series is so incredibly underrated. I hate telling people what they *should* read but every romcom lover should 100% read this!

This was book 3 in the interconnected, stand-alone series and follows Alexis and Noah in a friends-to-lovers story with a side of found family. They’re both dealing with grief over losing a parent (something I always connect with in books). The story was sweet (and a little bit spicy) but the scenes with Beefcake the cat had me literally LOLing.

Finally, the BBC has a female lead who is likable! The humor in this series is still its best attribute, but the romance was better in this book than the previous two.
