I received an ARC from Netgalley. All opinions expressed are my own. I was not required to leave a positive review
This is the 3rd book in a series. I have read the first one, but didn't read book #2. I missed a bit of the back story of these characters, so I'd recommend reading this series in order.

Finally, a romance novel with a good-hearted, likable heroine who is also a sexual assault survivor. Alexis is a breath of fresh air compared to the annoying heroines of the previous books. In fact, my only issue with the series so far has been the protagonists' tendency to act like obnoxious brats and treat their lovely heroes unfairly. Thankfully, Alexis breaks this pattern.

This series is so incredibly underrated. I hate telling people what they *should* read but every romcom lover should 100% read this!
This was book 3 in the interconnected, stand-alone series and follows Alexis and Noah in a friends-to-lovers story with a side of found family. They’re both dealing with grief over losing a parent (something I always connect with in books). The story was sweet (and a little bit spicy) but the scenes with Beefcake the cat had me literally LOLing.
