This was seriously one of the best written rom-coms. Seriously the best banter between two characters ever; I laughed more during this book then any other I’ve read in quite a while…and delicious chemistry with medium spice!

***light spoilers***

Normally, most romantic novels follow a general structure.
1. A meet cute between the MC and LI.
2. The MC and LI are put in precarious circumstances.
3. The climax (usually litterally)
4. Some sort of wrench is thrown.
5. Some angsty moments.
6. The resolution and most likely a HEA, or sometimes just an ending.

The problem I had with this book was with the content of these.

1. Meet cute in this case was weird, cringe and confusing. The MC was off putting AF.

Lynn Painter is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.

In Accidentally Amy, Izzy “accidentally” becomes Amy when she steals Amy’s Starbucks PSL order - she ordered the same thing, was it really stealing if she just jumped ahead a few drinks? She was desperate and running late for her first day at a new job, so she makes the iffy and questionable decision to take Amy’s drink. Gawwwwwd this book is so friggin CUTE!!!

Seriously I was smiling through 90% of it. The texting & banter between Iz & Blake was just too adorable.

If you’re looking for a happy, feel-good story, this book is definitely for you!
