This book was extremely similar to The Love Hypothesis-which I loved! But the main character’s cluelessness in this one was too much. I could not with “why does he hate me” in different variations. Like girl aren’t you supposed to be a neuroscientist 🙄 it was so irritating. I still enjoyed the book overall! It was a fun, light read and I don’t regret reading it! Or maybe I regret it a little. Because for the most part I think I was just annoyed with Bee.

TW: death of a loved one, cheating
Edit: I finished it and bumping it down to 1 star. Loved TLH but this was not it.

Currently at 1/3 of the way through and had to record my disappointment for this book I was so excited to read.

I tried to look at the review even before starting this book and based on what I read here, I was a bit hesitant if I would enjoy it. But SURPRISINGLY, I did!! I loved it so much!!! And to be honest, I loved it more than The Love Hypothesis. This is amazing and I think it just earned a forever spot in the bookshelf I keep inside my heart. ❤️

Only picked this up as a friend recomended and I fell in love with it 20 pages in. It's witty, the characters are loveable and a great insight into the lifeof women in STEM. Made me love Ali Hazelwood and looking forward to reading more like this.
