This is an incredible book. I appreciate the vulnerability and the amount of anecdotes (both personal and secondhand) which are shared in this book. I was unable to finish as the content regarding sexual assault and similar topics became too overwhelming for me, hence the lower rating, but I would still recommend Pure to others wanting to learn about the adverse effects of purity culture from a woman’s perspective.
