I thought really long and hard about what to say in this review. This was my pick for a monthly book club that my friends and I have. We spent the better part of two hours yesterday going over all the ways the book had wronged us. Suffice to say I’m not sure if I’ll be allowed to choose a book again!

I would probably be more likely to give this a 1.5, but the cover is cute enough to bring it up to a 2.
There's a reason this book was free on Audible and I think all those who gave it 4 or 5 stars were likely paid to do so.
This book tries really hard to make a cute story for genderqueer folk, but it falls flat like a failed souffle. Cultural references that feel nearly a decade outdated (I mean, honestly, who complains about hipster fashion in 2021?) and tokenism dripping off of every characte ...more
