Did not finished. Stopped at page 100.
I did not connect with the characters and the plot felt boring. I was a bit upset when I realised that the love interest was Cal and not Ryan. It’s so important to talk about sexism in Hollywood and the fact that Kathleen has to deal with the brunt of the backlash and Cal nothing was infuriating. Plus, he acts like he gets to be mad at her at the beginning. It just left a sour taste in my mouth that didn’t leave as I continued reading

3.5 stars rounded up for the nostalgic 90s/00s Britney and Justin vibes and the musical theatre warm fuzzies this delivered for me. I did not love Kathleen/Katee (ENOUGH with the self sabotage, woman!), but rooting for Cal and for Harriet kept me interested in knowing how it would all play out. Love the clever title!
