Este adevărat că a fost puțin puțin mai slabă decât celelalte cărți scrise de autoare, daaaaar s-a văzut că a fost bine gândită.
Am avut câteva mici probleme cu anumite acțiuni pe care le-au făcut personajele(adulte fiind), asta însemnând că au fost extrem de imature și bazate pe ură, gelozie etc. Nu pot să detaliez, pentru că asta înseamnă spoilere.
Nu prea e un thriller in adevăratul sens al cuvântului, ci mai degrabă un fel de dramă de familie, in care cei trei verișori încerca să afle tre ...more

It is almost 3am as I am writing this. Why? That’s a good question that I don’t have an answer to. The plot twists were unexpected and my prediction for who was sus was completely wrong. This is the least coherent review I’ve ever done. I’m going to sleep. Goodnight

Ending was not expected! Although in the starting, I questioned a lot of things, but it got covered up later in the story! Very lovable characters and a perfect summer read!

So, I've read all of McManus' books so far, and I really enjoy her writing. But I feel like, even though this book is absolutely amazing, it is my least favourite book by her.

The ending felt quite rushed and I feel like a heap of information was dumped on me at the end. This isn't necessarily a problem, but I just didn't like it that much.

However, I really loved the book - the storyline, suspense, flashbacks... it all helped to make this book as amazing as it is!

I liked the story and the characters but the incest plot honestly disturbed me (like why did that have to happen idk). The final plot twist was kinda unspectacular but I still liked the book, all in all.

As always Karen M McManus’ writing keeps me enthralled for hours at a time. I love the multiple perspective and the addition of a perspective of a character from the past timeline as well as the present perspectives. Overall a wonderful book with some great twists at the end
