What Members Thought
Freshwater is a novel that is as fractured as its protagonist. It’s a very internal reflection that was difficult for me to engage with. Receiving only the non-linear internal voice(s) of Ada made it challenging to understand what they were really experiencing and how they were interacting in the world. Perhaps that’s part of the point. I may return to Freshwater at some point to see if I can get more out of it, but after a first reading it seems like a very personal piece that probably will alw
