Sometimes good, but not for extended periods of writing - the stories in the second half of the work are much stronger than those in the first half, technically speaking. Ideas are evident inside the writing, but are seldom developed more than superficially, which is, to be fair, more an artifact of the restrictive format than a deficiency in the writing.
