What Members Thought

A VERY tentative 3 stars because…what the fuck was that 🤡
I recommend the first 75% of this book & then I recommend doing yourself a favour & just putting that shit down & never going back
So glad I spent my time spring-cleaning while listening to this so I don’t feel like I’ve COMPLETELY wasted an entire day of my life 🥴🥴🥴

the main conflict was VERY painful to read
like i'm not blaming the male lead but at the same time... whole situation was a bit icky
still super fun to read tho! ...more

pros:
• witty and hilarious
• cute and fuzzy
• likable characters, for the most part
• great character development
• easy read
cons:
• kinda long chapters (depends from person to person)
• the cover (maybe human illustrations would've attracted more audience)
• unsatisfactory epilogue (I wish it was from Olive's POV instead of suddenly jumping into Ethan's)
why should one read this book?
• can be finished in one sitting
• never a dull moment
• the humour and character chemistry doesn't fail t ...more

I originally started this book and read the first chapter and struggled to get into it as the first couple of chapters are quite slow, however I did really enjoy this book in the moment even if it had some cringy moments at times! I also loved the descriptions of Hawaii in the book, and Ethan and Olive relationship 😍

2.5*

reread it and... still really like it! i love olive but she had her moments (bad ones) at times lol.
ethan wasn't perfect and definitely should've groveled more! but.. i still love them and shiny green sequined clothes. ...more
