i went into this book with limited expectations - i knew that it was popular and that i wanted to read it, but i had no idea what it was about (other than that it was a cinderella retelling), or even that it was part of a series (but now that i know…i am desperate to read the others). i feel like this is the ideal sweet spot to enter reading a book in, because it allowed me the chance to be absolutely pleasantly surprised. in short: i really enjoyed this book.

I thought this was gonna be one of the popular books that don't live up to the hype.
I WAS ABSOLUTELY WRONG!
I liked Cinder and Kai was soo sweet that I think I have a toothache.LOL. I hate Adri and Pearl so so much. They remind me of the evil step-sister and step-mom from cinderella. I felt like Peony was neither good nor bad.
I wish Cinder would be a little more confident in her self and I was proud AF when she finally rebelled after Adri signed her up for that cyborg draft. That scene where she ...more

God, this book will never fail to hit so hard. Marissa Meyer is an absolute MASTER.
