"You can fall in love: someone will catch you."
first off WOMEN IN STEM ROUND OF APPLAUSE. the tropes in this book fake-dating, grumpy-sunshine, MWAH CHEFS KISS. i really enjoyed this book, the characters were great (except for that clown tom), the writing, and the execution. i couldn't put this book down i loved it so much. i could relate to olive a lot (except for that miscommunciation stuff that had me throwing punches at the air) but the rambling, the personality, the way she interacts with p ...more

I AM IN LOVE!!!!!!!
I have never read a book so fast (about 24 hours). When I tell you I read it in two sittings and both of the times I just couldn't stop myself. I wanted to know how the book ends but also never wanted it to end...This book made me so happy oml, Oliver and Adam are so precious. I love that no matter how different their personalities are, they still managed to bond so well and develop the perfect friendship.
I have always loved paying attention to the side characters too and I a ...more

When you see a book floating about bookstagram with the highest of regards, your only option is to read it as soon as possible right??
Now, I had such high hopes for this one, there was so much praise, everyone loved Adam, and I felt left out!! I wanted to know what all the hype was about and I FINALLY got my hands on it (and it was sold out for a little while too, what??) and really liked it!! This was such a fun and easy read! It was almost perfect, the writing wasn’t cringey, the characters had great chemistry, and the setting overall is interesting. The only thing for me that makes it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I didn’t really connect with the characters that much, although really liked Adam.

Read this until 2 am this morning, so yeah I was slightly obsessed with it. Adam is literally the definition of a man written by a woman, AHHH. Like how is he so perfecttt. Really glad I read this cuz I LOVED the STEM aspect of it and felt so represented by everything. Feeling like I should go into academia and then switch to industry just by reading this ahahah
