Never make deals with the devil. He’ll always make your life miserable.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
I sit here writing this with blurry eyes, holding my 5/5 book to my chest. I’ve always thought of books as different dimensions, alternate timelines, but this book will probably be the only book that I’ll believe is in this universe, this dimension, this timeline. The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue has destroyed me and put me back together, in the best way possible. Addie LaRue is such a unique and carefully created character that she seems ALIVE, almost as if she ...more

Next Steps: Googling all the fan-art that's available for this book!!!
My first book by Schwab and what a book it was!!!
This book deserved all the hype.. I've never read something like this and I cannot find words to describe the work by Schwab.. The writing was simple but the essence, the story, the characters were something beyond words and writing..

I really liked the concept but the characters were kind of flat for me. I didn't have an emotional connection to anyone and no motivation to finish the story-despite my stubbornness and unwillingness to DNF. I wish I had enjoyed it as much as everyone before me. It does have a beautiful cover though.
