~ First Impression ~

Hmm. Alright. I liked Isobel, and how she was practical and smart. Rook was -- okay. He didn't have much personality other than his good looks and arrogance/pride. I LOVED the worldbuilding -- the concept of the season-lands was really cool, and the writing style was super pretty!

~ Characters ~

★★★✫ -- 3.5 stars

ok so overall, this was good enough. in some places you were left wondering and it either went too fast or too slow.
BUT LETS TALK ABT THE ROMANCE.

an enchantment of ravens is a novel about a painter (who is a mortal) with exceptional talent who meets a dismayed fairy prince from the autumnlands.

Sue me. This book is not a masterpiece, but I had a blast reading it. The writing is so lush. My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard because the characters are so dang cute. And the main character is actually pretty smart. This book is the much better version of ACOTAR. Forever a guilty pleasure.
