What Members Thought

This is an Adam Silvera book.
The title tells you a lot. The book is about the journey of two ~18 year old boys. And it’s lovely.
Read it.
This is probably the last book in his “original” style. His tone changes in later books.
My rankings of his first 3 books:
1. History is all you left me. (perfection!)
2. More Happy than Not. (disturbing, original, authentic)
3. They both die at the end. (touching, beautiful!, straight-forward love story)

A horrifically tragic book about breaking out of your shell, finding and losing love, and coping with knowing you're about to die. The sense of dread and adventure is palpable throughout the story.
As you may have noticed it took me almost a year to finish this book. This is because it is a rather emotionally taxing book and my job can also be emotionally taxing. So just be aware this is certainly not an easy read. ...more
