Such a good little shortie with terrific advice for discussing feminist ideas with young people, or any people. I loved the moment when she talked about examining sexists comments on page 27: Teach her that if you criticize X in women but do not criticize X in men, then you do not have a problem with X, you have a problem with women." X being possibly, anger, ambition, stubbornness... An especially top-notch gift for anyone parenting a girl. ...more

Of course this was wonderful. Adichie has such an excellent turn of phrase a way of saying things that resonates and makes it personal. Worth listening for the parents of every child, not just girls
