This is a book that resists categorization: it is a collection of over 100 fragments- some short stories/essays, some brief, astute observations- all related to traveling. This is my 2nd Tokarczuk book and, though wildly different in style to “Drive Your Plow…” -“Flights” has no driving plot - it is similar in that the prose, the observations, the whole, is gorgeous.
