This was a very unique in tons of aspects, which is good because sometimes it's nice to read something new and out of your comfort zone. It has a great setting and world building and the author is super creative with the terms she uses to create mood.
BUT
it just wasn't for me. I had no connection to the characters or the plot or the writing style and it just... fell flat. UGH. Which was very disappointing, but alas, it is what it is. That being said, I will not be continuing the series. ...more
