5 stars just wow... this was just too good omg, I enjoyed every bit of it so much I stalled with finishing it because I just didn't want it to end...
It was so addicting to read, the plot was perfect for this first book, the main characters Crier and Ayla were so lovable. Crier is an absolute angel, I love her so much!! Ayla has been through so much it hurt seeing her going through so much loss.

the first half to my favorite duology of all time.
crier’s war is a beautiful book, but the sequel really shines as a masterpiece of young adult literature. this duology was clearly planned and had so much thought and love put into it. do yourself a favor and read both books.
