5 stars just wow... this was just too good omg, I enjoyed every bit of it so much I stalled with finishing it because I just didn't want it to end...

the first half to my favorite duology of all time.
crier’s war is a beautiful book, but the sequel really shines as a masterpiece of young adult literature. this duology was clearly planned and had so much thought and love put into it. do yourself a favor and read both books.
it’s rare that a book convinces me of love between two characters — even rarer that it can do so while keeping me hooked on a substantial plot. crier’s war and iron heart not only managed to do so, but they did made my heart ...more
