Ohmygosh so... I adore this book. It's not a fast read and uou shouldn't expect a fast paced book because it's more character driven than plot driven. Not much happens, but a lot it happening too at the same time. Can't wait to reread it in Dutch! ...more

I went into this book with really high expectations, both due to the booksta hype and my love of the Shades of Magic series. Though I adored the writing style and world building in that series, I was positively surprised to find something completely different in Addie LaRue. It was beautiful and whimsical and sharp and melancholic and unforgiving all at once and I really liked that. I loved the characters (though Henry fell just a liiiittle flat for me), I loved the idea, and I loved the ending ...more
