What Members Thought
This took me forever to get through. I think it was a combination of the characters being completely unlikeable and the subject matter. It was a very interesting theme (finding ancient scrolls, cults etc.), but unlike Carol Goodman's other books, I just could not get into this one.

I read this earlier in the year. Have read, I believe, every other book by her. She never fails to astound the senses with atmospheric prose. That is something that keeps me coming back for more. Enjoyed this book, being that it is set in a place I traveled to at the age of sixteen. Very reminisce.
