BEWARE: this is not a review but a rant.
This book was extremely intense and the plot was definitely interesting. It felt heavy and gruesome, the author was not afraid to get dark, despite this being a YA book. This was going to be four stars (maybe even 4.5)... I saw some faults but I was completely immersed and obsessed with it. I really did enjoy it. Until the end. The last page. I am so annoyed. That was the most unsatisfying end to any book I have ever read. Where was the last half of the book??? Nothing was explained or resolved, which was EXTREMELY frustrating!!! I'd perhaps understand if it was the first in a series, but its a standalone....??
