I thoroughly enjoyed this story, the title taken from a throwaway line in the canon. The characters are believable, the dialogue is superb and the plot shows vigor and imagination. The short story follows the basic framework of the classic Conan Doyle plot, starting with a domestic scene in 221B and ending with plot resolution and Watson being astounded (once again) by Holmes' mental dexterity; a very satisfying read. ...more
