This was my second SAA book, read right after The Girl Who Chased the Moon and just like that book, it was a lovely, made me cry real tears at the end of the book kind of story. I just loved it and I love how SAA spins her yarn and winds up everything happily ever after at the end. I like that. I think I realize that more and more now after reading. I went for five stars, because I loved this book as much as I love Garden Spells. It had all the magical characteristics as Garden Spells, but a different but equally engaging story line. When you first start the book you are introduced to a sad and Lonely Josey who happens upon a woman in her closet. I really enjoy this author's work. Like Garden Spells, it's another Allen story to get lost in, staying up way too late at night just to keep reading. I can't wait for her next book to come out.
