I enjoyed this book although it started slow for me and I didn't think I'd read all of it. It picked up though and while I enjoyed The Girl Who Chased the Moon and Garden Spells more, The Peach Keeper was fun to read. In the Allen books I've read so far, food has certain magical qualities which I find very interesting. I also like tidy endings!

I quite liked this book. The mystery was definitely secondary to the relationships between the characters. The story did grab me when I started and I wanted to finish it quickly - a quick gentle read.
Another good book. Seemed to have less whimsy but still had the touch of magic in the story. Love that! Different character names too....Paxton and Willa. Looking forward to her next book.
