Love all her books. This wasn't as good as past but still very interesting.

A sweet story about a recently widowed woman, Kate, and her young daughter who seek out the summer place where Kate spent the happiest summer of her life. There are the usual quirky characters that a Sarah Addison Allen novel has with a bit of the mystical thrown in.
Ms. Allen does an exceptional job with the magical realism. It was not so loud that I was distracted. Character development was impeccable. I was sad when this book was over.
Really enjoyed this one. There was less 'magic' than I am used to with Allen, but it was a wonderful read with characters I really liked.
