On a recent wishlist I wrote for a Top Ten Tuesday feature, one of my wishes was for more magical realism. This closely ties into my love of folklore and mythology and that wish was satisfied (for a short time at least) with Sarah Addison Allen's newest beautiful story, Lost Lake. Another classic SAA book. I love her writing. The only complaint is I read it too quickly and now I have to wait forever for another one.
I ate it up in two sittings. I adore Sarah's magical realist style - delicious.
