Again, Sarah Addison Allen does not disappoint! I love how she finds magic in everyday things; it makes me look for wonders around me. This book continues the story of the Waverley Sisters from Garden Spells. I loved reading and living their journeys. And that wonderful apple tree! It is impossible to choose a favorite Sarah Addison Allen book because they are all so fabulous.

Loved it, almost as much as Garden Spells. It was great to have a continuation of the story. The Bay storyline was nice and learning more about the Waverly gifts. I didn't enjoy the strange man side story so much, but did like how it brought them together, so I understand that he served his purpose. I wish, as I do with all of her novels, that she had made it a little longer. I want to know what happened to Bay and Josh, did Fred really pick up Evenelle's gift and how did that happen. Totally love that I enjoyed this just has much as her first book, "Garden Spells". Everything I love about this author was brought back in this book. Unlike her last book 'Lost Lake' which I felt lacked the usual "magic" of her books. Sarah Addison Allen is my favorite "beach read" author, if only I could always read on the beach! ...more

I loved this just as much as Garden Spells. What a great sequel. Full of magic, family, and romance. I was totally engrossed from the first page until the end! Great writing style, the book just flowed nicely along! I can't wait to read more by this great author! Hopefully there will be more Waverley stories to tell as well! ...more
