Another wonderful book about the Waverley women! We are brought into the world of Claire, Sydney, and Bay, and what a charming and wonderful one it is! I loved the story of these women!

While I did like this book, it was the very definition of an unnecessary sequel.

I love Sara Addison Allen's books. And I fell in love with the Waverly sisters in Garden Spells, so it was fun to be with them again. Allen has a lyrical way with words, just the right amount of spice and magic. Her stories unfold and blossom as no other author's can. And it's interesting how the men in their lives truly accept that not everything in this world can be explained, but when you love someone it's a part of who they are and worthy of love as well.

This is the 'book from an author I love that I haven't read yet' for my reading challenge and since SAA is one of my favorite authors (look how much I love her, I even write her name in a clever shorthand), I'd say that it definitely fits the bill. And this is finally it. It's ten years after Garden Spells ...more

Totally love that I enjoyed this just has much as her first book, "Garden Spells". Everything I love about this author was brought back in this book. Unlike her last book 'Lost Lake' which I felt lacked the usual "magic" of her books. Sarah Addison Allen is my favorite "beach read" author, if only I could always read on the beach! ...more

I loved this just as much as Garden Spells. What a great sequel. Full of magic, family, and romance. I was totally engrossed from the first page until the end! Great writing style, the book just flowed nicely along! I can't wait to read more by this great author! Hopefully there will be more Waverley stories to tell as well! ...more

This book is a wonderful follow up to Garden Spells. I hope that we might get a third book that continues Bay's story as she gets older. Highly recommended to any fans of Sarah Addison Allen's novels. ...more
