I was excited to be back in the world of the Waverley's and had high hopes for this book. Although I did enjoy the book it wasn't as good as I had expected after reading Garden Spells. It took about 50 pages for me to really get interested in the storyline and even then you could see every 'twist' coming from a mile away.
