I don’t know how to feel because elians pov and his whole pirate thing was so boring but lira was so cool and every part of the book besides the last 80ish pages was awful but those last chapters were gold
Overall I was disappointed but surprised by the end and how much I want more from it
Should’ve been a series
Dotpk is still the best siren/pirate ya novel though sorry

I enjoyed this more than I thought I was going to.

After seeing it all over booktok, I had to get it on kindle unlimited. It took me a while to get through at first, definitely a flow starter, but I read the second half in a day.
I must admit, I'm not usually the enemies to lover type, but I did quite like it here. I loved the exploration of two morally grey characters, and the pirate backdrop didn't hurt.
