What a better way to describe this book? It was such an adorable and cute read. I'm so happy I decided to read it after staying on my tbr pile for months, or maybe even a year.

This was me after finishing it.
The things I liked about this book:
-The writing. It was beautiful as I said before, sorry for repeating the same word again and again but I don't know a better way to express it so deal with it.

I always thought myself to be cut out to love classics. Jane Austen is a woman most aspiring authors look up to. Most would call her the creator of romance novels, the creator of enemies to lovers.
I always expected myself to be one of them. But maybe I am just not cut out for classics. Part of me finds that a horrifying thought, because in someway that makes me feel like less of a reader. The bigger and certainly more intelligent part of myself says fuck that. Because I just wasted a whole after ...more

It took me a grand total of two months and 7 days to finish Pride and Prejudice but I’m glad I stuck with it. The ending was really sweet and I enjoyed listening to the dialogue between various characters, especially the feisty conversation between Catherine de burgh and Lizzie concerning a certain Mr Darcy. Whilst I didn’t find myself constantly reaching for p&p, it was nice to fall back into Jane Austen’s world after a break and settle down comfortably.

I read along with an audiobook, and it was fun! The narrator was great and I feel like I got a better understanding of what was going on than reading by myself. Austen's a very detailed writer, therefore made picturing the events easy. Having watched the movie before, I can say now that I love them both.
