Shelves: classics, pirate-y, i-m-trying, to-reread

Soooooo, it pains me to give such a classic merely two stars, it really does, but I couldn't bring myself to enjoy this book as it should have been. My attention was wandering through the entire thing, and my primary thoughts were: a) why is there so much swearing b) I literally do not care one whit who dies, cause at this point we can assume it's everyone c) I should no longer trust anyone because they might turn out to be lackeys of the Pirate Flint. That said, I will be giving this another go ...more

This is one of the ONLY two books I dnfed, and the first. I just couldn't finish it. I found it completely pointless and boring.

Still giving it 3 stars. No book deserves less than that. ...more

This book is amazing I have read this book when I was younger and even now I had one time re written the book by myself at 1 time drawing picture books and also made a new map of the treasure Island I will be passing this book to my future ones and teaching lessons from there

LOVE THIS SOOO MUCH Robert louis Stevenson is a great writer I absolutely thank him for the adventure of a life time and experience of reading
