Dual 3rd person POV? I think so!

I know that this is everyone's favorite but (don't come at me) this is my least favorite in the series. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED and adore this book so much that I almost cried from time to time. Stella and Michael is one of my favorite couples of all time. But, what I'm surprised by is how I love them more individually than together.

I read this book back in April, and I loved it so much. Stella, the main character is autistic. It was amazing to read a book written by an actually autistic author, about an actually autistic character. I read this book back in April, and I loved it so much. Stella, the main character is autistic. It was amazing to read a book written by an actually autistic author, about an actually autistic character. The autism stereotypes were all broken, showing that autistic people are more than stereotypes. It also highlights the fact that Stella, or any autistic person, doesn’t need to change to help society, or other people, feel better about themselves, and that everyone is perfect as they come.

“When you love someone, you fight for them in every way you know how.”
Michael is a male escort, but he hates the job, and he hates the stigma. However, the one good thing to come out of this was his meeting Stella. Michael has autistic cousins, so he doesn’t treat Stella any differently, neither does he realise that she is autistic. I loved that he treated her like a normal person and didn’t baby her, as is often the misconception with autistic people. All the characters in the story were amazing. They loved each other but they expressed their love in different ways, which was interesting to see. My heart bled for Michael, he truly broke so many toxic male stereotypes. He was vulnerable, sensitive, showed his love for Stella and his family.

“How did one not obsess over something wonderful? How did one like something a reasonable amount?”
I fell in love with the story. Although I knew it was going to be a happy ending, I was still at the edge of my seat till Stella and Michael didn’t get their happy ending. I saw a lot of myself in Stella, and I felt less alone. I found that this book spoke to me in all the write ways, helped me find that just because we are all different doesn’t mean we’re unworthy and incapable of being loved. It doesn’t mean anything other than that our difference should be celebrated. The fact that there wasn’t just amazing autism representation in this book, but also culturally diverse characters, it made the story more relatable and perfect.

I would recommend this book to everyone, if you haven’t read it make sure to do so now!
