What a ride! It was hard not to marvel at the thought, research and resourcefulness that went into this book and the story. I admire it but I'm a little angry. I feel like he dangled hope in front of me like a carrot. I shall go and sulk now. ...more

Not going to lie but several parts of this book absolutely bored me. Another issue is US 1 in Florida is on the East coast and has never came near Tampa. But did love US 19 that I drive daily in there. But other than that it was a good book but I think some boring parts could've been dropped and learned more about the future. ...more

I was a bit intimidated by the size of the book and the author of the book, but I'm history/thriller/mystery geek, so I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. Mr. King did not disappoint me at all. I was nervous that I'd get bored and disinterested somewhere among the 800+ pages, but I didn't. This was a really good story. ...more

This could've been 350 pages shorter for a more solid ending.

I might post a slightly better review later, but I might also decide not to waste any more time on King. >.< ...more
