aww this book i cried at the end it was such a sweet story. the only thing i hated was Tully. she was such a bad friend and only talked about her self. she also overreached with kate's daughter a bunch of times and realized it was wrong but never apologized >:( kate deserved better, she's such a cinnamon roll ...more

DNF @ Chapter 2

I DNF'ed this, so I won't rate it.

Let me just say that I didn't DNF Firefly Lane because it was boring and I didn't like it. I was attempting to read it online, and it just. wasn't. working. I've read a PDF copy of A Sword of Greed and Envy, and it worked for me. However, I had a lot more time to do that. This time, though, didn't work. It made me not want to read. In fact, I've pretty much been in a book slump since. :(

I want to buy this book for my best friend and write a letter in the book for her. This story was beautifully written and I felt this on so many levels. I loved how it had major historical events to mark the time line. ❤️❤️❤️ I needed this book and I am so glad I read it when I did. In the end LOVE and Family is all that matters.
