Well this book was one big stack of pain.

I knew what I was getting into when I decided to pick this book up because I got spoiled for what happens and I knew what it was about but that didn't make it hurt any less. I actually cried a lot while reading this, more than I typically do when reading a book.

Now, of course, this book wasn't perfect because no book is (except my favorite books 😏) but it was very good.

okay, this is still my favorite book
I love it so much
I feel empty bc I just finished it and ughhhh it’s so beautiful I canttttt
I also cried, yet again
I’ve cried over this wonderful story so many times, and it still continues to hurt

I hated the ending, I thought it was stupid. Also hated how the author romanticises mental illness.

This book…… it’s hard to describe. It’s realistic and raw and painful. It’s beautifully written in a way that keeps you close but not too close, in a way that keeps you interested, especially at the end. Read it.
