Obviously, this is a very emotional book. I didn’t cry, but I did get choked up at parts and had to momentarily put it down because of that. Violet and Finch’s story was tragic yet beautiful. Absolutely amazing! Theodore Finch's character was fabulous! I wish that as a high school student that I had had his courage to defy labels and do exactly whatever I wanted... This book made me laugh out loud, ugly cry, sigh and shake my head all at the same time. No spoilers ever from me, but this book must be read, the story must go on and be talked about. I love, love, love this book! I have read a lot of realistic fiction but this one takes the cake out of what I have read in the last couple years.

This is the story of two people who meet at the school bell tower, well, at the top of the bell tower. Both are up there for one reason, to jump. It was pretty good a couple things bothered me about this book. wasn’t exactly my kind of vibe but the plot was very interesting. It kind of was expected too the climatic scene but again it’s young adult so maybe that’s why I wasn’t completely in love with it..
