The Harry Potter Series is one of favorite I read it every year. Out of the all 7 volumes the first is number 1 for me.
Here we are introduce to our main protagonist Harry. How and where he grow up and how he became to be there. Even though the Dursley clam to have harry grow up normal, exactly what is normal about living in a cupboard and constantly being miss treated. I ask you well anyway it didn't work and Harry Potter is expected to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry to learn magic. ...more

I read this book and this series for the first time over five years ago and I am glad to see that it still interests me. While it is a little tedious to have just a single villain over the course of all the books, it is still refreshing to see how all the events build up with each successive book.
