Deserving of being Victor Hugo's Magnum Opus, it's little wonder why Les Miserables is such a fantastic book. Complex characters with room for interpretation, thought provoking chapters and interludes, I cannot recommend this book more to those fascinated with the human condition and society as a whole. Beware, for it is not a wholly happy tale, as one can gleam from the title; nevertheless, it may prove to have a lasting effect on how one views the world, especially from the early 1800's. Les Mis Letters! Emailing one chapter a day to me... may have skipped some boring sections (apologies) but will defs be going back at this again next year. can never read les mis too many times
