I love the premise sooooo much as a Swiftie!

However, this book lost me at points. The characters fall flat, almost slipping into caricatures of manic pixie dream girl (mix of TS and Daisy Jones) and regular guy. It lacked nuance

I also found the writing a little tough at moments — a lot of telling and not very much showing. It’s hard to believe Max and Riley like each other because there was no tension, no meaningful build-up or conversation. They were exes until they weren’ ...more

Sort-of cute but I was hoping for more. I felt like the main characters had zero chemistry and the spicy scenes were cringe. As a Swiftie I was hoping it would be more exciting to read.
